Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to the timeless destination of Thailand! Arriving in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand built on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Today we transfer you to your accommodation and you relax in preparation for the journey ahead of you!
Day 2
Today we begin exploring Bangok City and the stunning temples of Wat Chetuporn, Wat Traimitr, and Wat Pho. During this tour we will learn about mural paintings, inscriptions, statues, literature and much more! We even learn about the rich history of Buddhism and a visit to Wat Benchamaborpit. End your day with a fun Tuk-Tuk, three-wheeled taxi, to Chinatown.
Day 3
Escape the bustling of the city of Bangkok when we explore the Maeklong and the floating markets. Canoe through the floating markets and see vendors selling everything from fresh produce to everyday items. The rush of the railway market will be an unforgettable experience as you observe the vendors packing their goods quickly, selling them for the railway line. We continue our journey to admire the beautiful temples of Bangkok town.
Days 4
Your private transfer will take place from Bangkok Centre to the domestic terminal of the airport for your internal flight to Chiang Mai. Upon your arrival to Chiang Mai you will be greeted by a local guide and private transfer to your accommodations in town.
Day 5
Spend time with one of the most fascinating animals in the world, elephants. You will be allocated bananas and sugar cane to feed the elephants, then roam free with elephants as you admire these beautiful creatures. While learning about their behaviors and lifestyle we will begin walking them to a nearby river, observing them in the water. Followed by visiting the most sacred temple in the North of Thailand, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep Temple followed by a Chiang Mai City Tour. The temple can be reached by the carved mythical Naga Serpent Staircase.
Day 6
Enjoy a traditional Khantoke Dinner and Thai Cultural Dance show. This is one of the most famous traditions, we will sit on the floor sharing tasty dishes and enjoying the local dancers. Everything from sword dances, candle dances to the traditional Ramwong where it's time for you to join! After you enjoy the show, it's time to explore the Chiang Mai Night Market.
Day 7
Meet your local guide for a private transfer to the airport for your domestic flights to South Thailand, Phuket Beach. Upon arrival a local guide will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation.
Day 8
Time to explore the one and only Phi Phi Island. The tour begins at Maya Bay, one of the most famous beaches in the world by the movie ‘The Beach’ with Leonardo Di Caprio. You won’t miss the Viking Cave, where the edible nests of swiftlet birds are said to promote good health. Then make a stop at Monkey Beach, to say hello to the Macaque monkeys, then stop at Tonsai Bay at Phi Phi Don Island.
Day 9
Indulge in leisurely exploration as you wander the charming streets of Phuket Town, where colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture and bustling markets await your discovery. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and rich heritage of this historic town, sampling local delicacies and uncovering hidden gems at every turn.
Day 10
Relax and enjoy a seamless departure as Tag Along Travels arranges a private transfer to escort you to the airport for your international flight home, ensuring a stress-free end to your unforgettable Thai adventure.
